CV / Résumé

I have extensive experience bridging scientific research and advanced computation. Proficient in handling large, complex datasets, data preprocessing, statistical modelling, and machine and deep learning pipelines for scientific insight.

I design and implement scalable algorithms, numerical models, and distributed / high-performance computing solutions. A proven collaborative team player, I combine rigorous coding practices, rapid learning, and creative problem-solving to deliver high-impact results. Leveraging strong oral and written communication and data-visualisation skills to drive cross-disciplinary projects.

Education

Doctorate of Philosophy - Physics

2023 - 2026 [Expected]

Joined the Department of Physics at UoC, in association with the Institutes of Astrophysics and Computer Science, FORTH in collaboration with CosmoStat Laboratory, CEA Paris-Saclay (see next section) on a collaborative research project on signal processing and analysis of high-z galaxy spectral datacubes using theory, simulations and observations.

Integrated : Bachelor of Science (BS), Master of Science (MS) - Physics

2018 - 2023

Studied BS courses in all scientific disciplines - Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Earth Sciences; Advanced MS courses in theoretical and experimental Physics, specialising in Astrophysics, Data Science and Machine Learning

Work / Research Experience

Visiting Scientific Collaborator

2024, 2025

Scientific collaborator of the CosmoStat Laboratory (LCS) Located in Irfu's Department of Astrophysics (DaP) at CEA Paris-Saclay, France.

Annual secondmends conducted at LCS under the direct supervision of Dr. Jean-Luc Starck, Laboratory Head.

Master Research Intern

2022 - 2023

Worked on my Master's Thesis on machine learning-based cosmological interpretability of the large-scale structures of the Universe with data from the CAMELS project, supervised by Dr. Francisco Villaescusa-Navarro, CCA, FI | Princeton University, and collaborated with Dr. Adrian Bayer, CCA, FI | Princeton University.

Summer Research Intern

2021

Conducted a three-month summer research project under the supervision of Dr. Arti Goyal, Jagellonian University, on a project investigating the high-excitation and low-excitation, and the radio-loud and radio-quiet AGN dichotomy present in the largest manually compiled sample set of radio galaxies: ROGUE-1.

Semester and Summer Research Intern

2020, 2021

Worked on multiple semester-long and summer research projects on computational astrophysics: Worked on a reading project on galactic dynamics under the supervision of Dr. Arunima Banerjee, IISER Tirupati; and worked on the classification of Class-I and Class-II young stellar objects, under the supervision of Dr. Jessy Jose.
